The footpath on the left is the start of a circular around Dalby Mountain. It was originally a track leading to the Foxdale mines. This was a particularly wet day, but it highlighted a problem that has effectively destroyed the footpath across Dalby Mountain, known as the Doarlish Cashen footpath to Glen Maye.

The footpath on the left of this picture leads to the footpath leading past Doarlish Cashen on Dalby Mtn. The latter part of this footpath has been extensively used by motorbikes to the point where it is no longer walkable. It is marked on the ground as a footpath "Unsuitable for Vehicles", but on the Rights of Way map as a "Public Road", leading to confusion and the destruction of this once beautiful grassed track.
